Does anyone know if there is any concern over these ECM codes, the vehicle is running fine, should I just erase them.

You need a new engine ECU to make it go away. The part number is 89661-60221. The current list price is $1,550.04

I would hope that C-Dan is kidding...but the lack of smiley's would be a huge hint that he isn't.

Nope, not kidding.

The only way to make it go away is to replace the ECM. I had to get one for mine. It happens on early 93's only.

Be sure it's the number I posted above. That would be late 93 and 94 only. Do not get an 89661-60170 or 60220, you will be no better off.

I got those three codes 4 or 5 years ago. I erased them and they never came back. However, I think other people have erased them and they just came back. Might as well try before you find a new computer.

That may work for a time. Mine would come back almost immediately. It certainly wouldn't hurt to try re-setting it.

Just curious- what do these codes mean and what are the possible risks if you leave in the old ECU with these codes showing?

They relate to TCM-ECM communications. I think it relates to the TCM telling the ECM that the transmission is about to shift gears. There is a momentary reduction in engine output when the transmission shifts gears. The TCM and ECM are combined in one assembly in 95-up. And no, you can not run a later ECM in the early vehicle.
