Trollhole - HAC Question

Trollhole,

Hello, I'm working through a desmog & I had a question about the HAC valve. Mine has some nipples busted off and I found out Toyota's discontinued them. Classic Cruisers wants $75 for a used one. I'm wondering if I need one or if I can just take it out of the system.

I'm in Colorado & ordered your carb with the high-altitude jets. I wheel from <6000 to probably around 12,500 or so. Just wondering in your opinon if I should keep/delete the HAC.

Try it without and see how you like it. Something tells me you will want it but it's worth a try without.
