just kinda getting ideas for trip runs, wondering what is on everyone else's mind.

Day trips close to us:
Kelly Flats

Crystal Mountain/Moody Hill
Storm Mountain
Green Ridge

little further away:
Carnage/Left hand
Bill Moore Lake
Jenny Creek

Holy Cross

Maybe a camping weekend family trip?
Imogene
Engineer
Black Bear
North Sand Hills

not that i'm a member of your little club...;)

but my family was plannig some camping sometime in may(since we cant make the trip to CM06)

trying to figure out where is the hard part....there is soooooooo many places in colorado to go ;p ;p :D

prolly taking a week off and getting away from it all :D

Should we look at changing the trip weekend?

I know we have a few Military Reserve members who are having conflicts with the first weekend of the month.

So should we start a poll thread on which weekend is best. Probably should have 5 choices: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Any.

Just an Idea.

IMO, there is never going to be a good weekend choice that will work any better than the next. I will just look for those weekends that work.

I suggest being consistant with what weekend you go every month. For instance you could count on a trip the weekend following the meeting or the second weekend of the month or..... you get the idea. That way folks can plan it in and also be eager for that weekend to come up.

I dont really need it to be a different weekend. I only have 16 drills left.
Once or twice a year I can RIDT and not go to drill. It is perfectly fine with me to keep it on the 1st weekend of the month.

But I do think we should not be switching between Sat and Sun. Just another element of confusion. IMO we should pick one or the other.

Nick,
If they are all on Saturdays There won't much in it for me, as I work every Saturday.
(Just my point of view)
Tim
