^^ Yeah, close enough. It's always a crapshoot though. Some months 5 people will post up they're coming and we'll have ~25 people show up. Other months 15 people will post up and then 5 people will show up.
Wish I could make it. We will be going to the NC Courage game tonight. Things have definitely filled my calendar the last few months and it doesn't look to be slowing down. We moved in June...into temp living...with another move coming soon. Hopefully when things slow down, I'll be able to make it out. I've definitely missed hanging out.

Looking like I'm going to have to skip this one. Started getting sick yesterday, not feeling any better today. I'll see everyone in August.

We can't make this one-babysitting grandkids all week and don't say "bring 'em". Ain't happening.
We are out. Parking is horrific. Shannon got there early and had to park 100 yards down the road. I got there at 645 and got the last parking spot in the area. We went to Rally Point instead.

Sorry guys, turns out it was a bad night for meeting there. There was a private party taking up the entire side room and it was busy on top of that, making parking worse than usual. There are a couple of lots for businesses that close at 5 nearby, that are a short walk to BB, you just have to find them. I enjoyed seeing folks and meeting some new ones as well. It was a wait, but the quesadillas I got were GOOD!

Nope. Ramon and Emma were able to snag one almost big enough for us though. Had 24 people I think.

Despite that fact, we still had a good time. Was good to see some faces I hadn't seen in a while!!
Bond Brothers is a great place, I like the food situation and of course they have great beer, but like Jones said, parking is horrific.

To be fair, I don't think anyone asked the BB folks if they had a table for us. I don't think they usually reserve anything unless it's the side room and that's not "free". Pretty serious drink minimum from what I understand.
Sounds like at this point we won't be back there for a meeting, which is fine. If people wanted to give it another shot, I could chat w/ the management and see what they say, and we could agree to park together at the side at Riley Contracting (where Emma, Wally, and I parked). There's about a dozen spaces there and it was pretty open when I arrived right at 7. It's literally less of a walk than where we park and walk in at Rally Point. My vote would be to rotate again, and try another different brewery or restaurant.

One of the bond brothers people reached out to James via FB when he put the post up about our monthly meeting. They asked how many people we had so they could save us a table. That's why there were posts talking about how many people we expect to show up.
I'm down for rotating again, doing BB again, or going back to rally point. Suggestions?
Bond Brothers is a neat place but I don't think it's the best for meetings or large groups. (especially with the parking for a vehicle centered group)
Rally Point seems to work. Maybe another rotation to try a another new place in a few months?

Sorry, my distaste for Rally Point is going to come through here... I would just vote to find some other candidates and rotate. Parking as a group never really came into consideration when I suggested BB, so that's on me. There are plenty of other places where group parking would be fairly simple. If folks want to keep it at Rally Point, that's certainly understandable if that's your preference.
