It's that time of the month!!

Our meeting falls on the 4th of July this year. Please answer the poll above!

Nevermind, ours is the 7th... oops. Offer still stands though - combine meetings for a 'summer cookout' type event?

Saturdays are few and far between. Not sure I'd be able to commit to *most of* a Saturday for a meeting that far away, but open to organizing one if there's enough interest!

I'm down for the 11th. I'm with the in-laws on the 4th.

11th it is.

What would people think about trying a different venue? @mtweller thinks that Bond Brothers in Cary would be ideal. While they don't serve food, there are a few restaurants right by there that offer take-out, that we can eat at bond brothers.

Ramon, care to describe a bit better?

Yeah, they always have a food truck onsite. Then there is Pros Epicurean next door and Faulisi Pizza, so several food options. You just order to go and it can be eaten at BB. Literally 20 yards away for both options. For the 11th, the food truck is El Molcajete - tacos, burritos, etc.

Dogs are allowed, which is really cool for the well behaved pooches. Great beer, great atmosphere. The only thing we'll need to keep in mind is that it's usually busy, so to pull tables together on the porch or get the big table inside, we might have to get there early.

This is a great idea! I love their beer...when I can get it.

Is BB that busy in the middle of the week?

Definitely can be. I've yet to go and see it "dead". It does trail off pretty early for a brewery... usually by 11pm or so the crowd usually thins (even on weekends) - not relevant for a meeting but thought I'd throw it out there.

BB is a fav. Good call.

7pm. I'll edit the title now.

So, July 11th, Bong Brothers, what time?

Maybe in a few years, when NC catches up to the rest of the world. For now, we'll be at Bond Brothers. :D

Perhaps a Freudian slip of sorts....

By the way, if either of the Bond brothers are there tell them that hippy guy James from high school said hi.

Sweet!!! I finally am going to make a meeting!!!

Because I tagged the bond brothers location. I got a note from someone that works there asking how many people.

IE: I guess I’m making your reservations.

I may be just a few minutes late, but will be there with bells on!
