I'll post some pics soon. I bought this rig in October last year and it's presently in the body shop. I built an insert for the back with full-length drawers. I could share pics of the insert already, but it'll look much better inside the truck. So, I guess this thread is all about whetting some appetites and seeing what interest there is out there. Later this year I'll be driving it from Winnipeg, Canada down to the Atlantic coast of Florida. Anyone have some good recommendations for overland routes along the way?

We're going to be needing the Money Shot.. an engine bay photo.

As soon as I get it back from the body shop, I'll give a lot more (including the money shot). I have someone who has agreed to do the body work at a discounted price with the caveat that it would be worked on between other jobs. It's been in the shop for 4 months now and I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms.

I let you guys down. After 7 months in the body shop, I had to race to get the truck put back together in time for the move to Florida. I've been here for 4 months and I'm having a hell of a time getting the truck registered in this state. If anyone has any insights on this process, I'd love to hear it. Being a JDM, it has a shorter VIN, so I can't get a Carfax for it, which is one of the things that the customs broker says they need. Now I'm considering selling it. Anyway, here's some pics of what it looks like now.

To the OP: see my response to your post in the "importing" section of 'Mud. You don't need a Customs Broker, you don't need a Carfax, and you don't have to sell it.

Cool truck, BTW
