Transmission crossmember for fj100

Hi, is the transmission crossmember the same between 100 and 80 series of Land Cruisers? Does the LX470 has the same crossmember?

I just bought a new-to-me 1999 Land cruiser that has pretty rusty transmission crossmember. So, I am looking to expand my used part search.

I am new to this forum and ownership of Land Cruisers. Appreciate your help.

The 80 and 100 series cross members are different. The LX470 and Land Cruiser cross members will be the same according to a part number cross-reference regardless of which transmission is used (4 or 5 speed). Just to be on the safe side id source it from a car that also comes with the 4 speed.

Currently looking for a crossmember for my cruiser as well - is anyone able to comment on a difference in the part from the 4 speed or 5 speed years? I am hoping it hasn't changed since the part number is the same?

i found one on ebay. used. no rust. i bet u could find a good used one at a salvage yard somewhere. avoid the salt belt. OEM is over $500 if u want to shell it out.
