Transmission (A750F) Replacement Experiences?

I recently paid $1000 to replace solenoid D only for it to start doing the same thing a few days later. I'm going to drive it until it stops driving then I'm going to buy a remanufactured tranny and be done with it. I was having trouble finding something but I was just looking for something for a GX470, now Im searching for the A750F and finding great deals.

The great deals on the A750F, is that used, rebuilt, reman? Would you be able to point me towards what you ended up going with?
