Transfer Case Shifter Collar Bushings - HOW TO INSTALL

Not likely. If the transfer case lever is very stiff, then the pivot pin has corroded. You can verify this by simply removing the cotter pin and disconnecting the linkage to the transfer case. The shift lever should move with no resistance.
This is what I was going to try this weekend , get up under there and see what's tight and what's just not aligned.

This step by step that @DominicanFZJ80 makes root causing very simple.

Ty both!

Hey all, sorry to bring this (super helpful) thread back from the dead.

One of the bolts that goes through the bushings stripped out on mine. I used the parts diagram on partsouq to find the bolt, but when I got it from the dealer they gave me a M8 bolt instead of a M10 that was in there originally.

Does anyone know the correct part number for the bolt I need, or is there a way to find the OEM bolt by size? The one I am after is a M10x1.25 x 30mm with an integrated washer.

Thanks in advance.

Any new source for these or the rubber bushings for the linkage in post #3?
