I threw a hopkins plug n pray kit on my rig when I got it and it has never worked correctly.

Now I am thinking of trying this one instead.

Just curious what you didn't like about the Hopkins kit? I have one on the shelf...

I think I"ve installed two of the Hopkins kit on two 80 series w/o issues. Maybe QC went downhill!!
