I want to wire the key up to work in my 80 buggy. Can anyone tell me what the wires off the back of the switch do?

I'm good, but I'm not that good.

How are you starting the truck now?

Seems pretty much in sync with Malleus' comment. The starting diagram is missing, thank god. That's where the fun starts, if you still have 24V starter. But since you already have a functional starter I guess, it should be a matter of connecting either ST2 (#2, black/red) or ST1 (#10 black/white) to your starter relay, and AM2 (#3, white/red) or AM1 (#9, black) to the battery. I guess the AM2-ST2 is the one used to power the relay in OEM, because the wires look bigger.

He still needs to power the fuel pump. And the open question about whether the ECM is being used needs to be answered. That's why I asked how he was starting it now. This is a little more complicated than a '67 Chevy C10.
