So I did this amazing job swappin out the 4 pin and hiding the 7 pin to find out my trailer wiring was not working to begin with....

Anyone know what the green circled connectors are supposed to be connected to? The red circled wiring goes down to where the 4 pin used to be. Seems like i’m missing something

I also attached the hidden 7 pin for bragging rights 😂

The two connectors that are circled will connect in line to the connector for your passenger's side taillight. It's accessible at the back of the fender opening that you're already in.

Also, do you see that lone green wire that goes under the carpet? That goes to the driver's side fender well, with a similar set of connectors, to go in line with the driver's side taillight connector.

So I’m not missing anything? Just gotta jump the connectors between the tail light stuff?

Edit:

Went out there to find the jumper, it worked! Thanks so much! They were tucked away in the corner

No problem. I actually pulled my trailer wiring out just a couple of days ago, because I plan on redoing most of it, so I knew right away what those connectors were.

Weirdly, there are connectors underneath the vehicle, between one of the rearmost frame crossmembers and the spare tire, that are earmarked for use with trailer wiring, but the OEM trailer wiring harness, as you've found out, just plugs in to the taillight connectors.

Cheers

I dont even know why it was unplugged to being with...is this a standard thing? Gotta do extra work to use a stock trailer plug lol
