On another note I've been asked about making a gas tank skid. If there is enough interest I'd look into this as well. But need to look at it as I think the later models tanks straps are all in one to the skid and hold the tank in place.

I'd more than likely look at making one that fit right up next to the old one and bolted to the frame.

That would be badass. My buddy bent his on Pearl Pass last year and it’s a mess. And his fuel gauge got all screwed up right after it happened. He’s got too much other stuff going on to take care of that but his fuel needle is stuck at the 1/4 position. The factory fuel tank skid is pretty much worthless.

So am I understanding this correctly that the Trail Tailor front recovery points will work just fine with a Dissent front bumper and skid plates? Would like to order a set.

If the OEM tow hooks workm, the TT points will work. They carry almost the exact same footprint as the OEM hooks.

I have a 2006. I'd be interested in a replacement skid for the gas tank. Something that could take the place of a skid that is starting to show some rust.

I’m okay with either a skid over the factory gas tank skid or a full replacement skid. Either one works!

@TRAIL TAILOR that front bumper looks like it sits in tight. I like the design with the wings sloping up versus having small narrow ones that stick out off of the main ( 4x4 labs style). Of course it's all preference.

Just wanted to show that the antenna and a pod will fit on the antenna mount. It's tight, they are touching but it fits. I bolted it on my Cruiser but the temp is dropping and I'm inside for the night. Maybe a mounted pic tomorrow. And btw, those welds are sexy!

@spressomon I guess it depends on the LED width. Looks like this is a Rigid Dually diffused with an antenna.

Yes, he is going to paint to match. He has to paint fender and hood so might as well.
