yeah that's sorta the plan. gotta get a perimeter trail cut along the property line. i think i'm gonna call on ENH members for help with that. it will be a mostly mild trail 33s and a traction device. after that we'll weave in some fun ones.

That would be fantastic! :) I think the potential at Swanzey is tremendous, assuming it doesn't get sold anytime soon.

What about a trail cut before it thaws with some snow on the ground. We could get a head start on it before mud season.I still haven't got a chance to see swanzy yet I cant wait.

I suppose we could get in there. The access roads are part of the snowmobile trail system tho.

Josh?

if we can get a bunch of snowmobiles to run that road dry so the snow is gone and it is no longer a snowmobile trail THEN we can drive our silly trucks out there and cut trails. i'm working on gaining access through property owners from my shop all the way to the swanzey property. a few people are going to be tough to persuade and could ruin the whole plan of having an access trail. it would be ideal for me because then i could run full blown buggies without ever getting on the road.

Work day for "Gremlin Graveyard
April 5, Sturbridge, MA

Tentative plans are as follows:
Do some signing, mostly arrows and respect land owner etc.
Potentially finishing GPS points for mapping.
Potentially cut one route up the steep hill.
All of this is subject to landowner approval.
Work force will be limited to ~10 people.
Most of it will probably be done on foot due to mud.

We will meet at 9 roll at 9:30. Meeting spot TBD.
I expect it will only take a few hours to get everything done.

I was talking to Nate today and discussing that there is not enough trails for people that are between stock and moderate, you know you like moderate trails but hate close trees most of these people drive trucks "with brains" mostly consisting of 80's-100's and fj cruisers if you fit this discription get off your couch grab a saw and lets cut us a new rt. 128:hillbilly:
