this trail we are cutting is going to be near the same as wombuss. that's why on the signup for fall crawl they called it wombuss II....[/QUOTE

Have you laid it out yet?

Me too, anyone else?

I hope to make it. The red one should be all polished up, Travis is taking it to the prom on saturday night.

What are the rules as far bringing an 4x4 ATV to a trail work day, my FJ40 isn't quite ready yet; either way I plan on being there.

FYI, the NEA has officially upgraded the trail rating for the Wombus Pass from Moderate to Hard. It's getting "bony" in there and to prevent serious trail braiding they have blocked the go-rounds that were emerging around that first big ledge. If you can't get up it, winch or take a strap.

the ATV is fine. not sure if you could run the trail with it though. might be kinda tough without a winch.

Cool; it has a winch, but I was only planning on using it as a means to haul a chain saw, loppers, shovel and other tools around to work sites.

All set for ATV as long as it's legally NH registered. This area has been an organized ATV area for a long time in fact, the 4x4 truck thing is reletively new.

Sporin

Any problem with one of our members bringing their ATV? Using it as a means to haul a chain saw, loppers, shovel and other tools around.

Not at all!

In fact I recommended ATV's/RUV's to out members!! I know at least a half a dozen that have them.

Just got home, they were running Wambus when I left. I'm beat!!!
Good turn out today. We cut a long trail from the bottom of the hill
down near Landslide trail all the way up to Wambus. The exit for the new
trail is right across the road from the Wambus entrance.
I would say this trail is about 3 times the length of Wambus.
Will be a tough trail when it's all broken in. Will probably be rated HARD.
North Country Cruiser guys, Kina, Gary this is your kind of trail (Gary was there today
with his Phase 3 FJ40) Thing works great!
Time for a beer.
