We are trading in our 2013 LR4 after 5 years and 65K miles. As much as we loved the LR4 (it is our second one) we did not like the new Discovery, so we decided to switch to a LC.

I am looking for options to lift it a couple of inches and fit 285/70R18 BFG AT tires. Also, is there a rear diff locker available?

Thanks in advance

This is a good place to start: 200 Series Tire and Wheel Size Database

You probably are not going to be fitting 285/7018 BFG AT tires because they do not come in that size. I believe they make the KM series in that size. I think Nitto may make some as well. I recently installed the OME BP51 setup and will be running 275/70/18 Cooper ST Maxx tires.

You could also go down to 17 inch wheels and have better tire size choices.

You’re right. That size is a MT, not an AT. I have them on our F150.

Good switch. Do some searching you’ll find your answers quickly. No 285/70/18 KO2s but Nitto makes the Ridge Grapplers in that size which is what I have. Search on my postings to see what it took and looks like. No lockers were available on the 200 in the US besides a CDL.
What is a CDL?

center diff lock

you can add a locker (s) from ARB / TJM / Eaton and so on.

what do you want to know about ICON

Is it a good kit? I'm looking at part # K53071 that includes front coil overs, rear springs and rear struts. I was hoping someone had experience with them and share the good and/or bad.

On the LR4 a 2" lift was achieved with longer connecting rods for the pneumatic suspension: easy swap (5 minutes per wheel) and 100% reversible. It just tricked the suspension into thinking it was lower so it would raise it a bit. I was spoiled with such an easy lift solution.

The icon kit is great. If you plan on loading up the weight on your new truck then I suggest you get the known weights calculated and call Icon so they may assist you in proper valving and or spring rates. Not all "off the shelf kits" are going to be dialed in for your particular application. If you are keeping the build light then that's a positive and less $. If you have the funds, consider adding or upgrading to the CDCV reservoirs. Many on here run those and have positive experiences. the adjustability is a nice feature depending on your planned trip terrain and or weight load the truck may be supporting.

Thanks for the detailed response. It is very helpful. I'm not planning to add weight but do want a higher stance to allow for bigger tires on 18" wheels. On the F150 I just added strut spacers up front that made the truck level with no load in the bed and allowed me to fit the 285/70R18 BFG MTs.

BTW, based on your pic I assume you ride off road. I ride a 2014 GSA off road and a 2014 350EXC-F in the woods.

My 200 and 80 are my only motorized offroad vehicles. Whats in my pic is this beast..which allows me to eat and drink as i please as long as i get some pedal time in.

Those are some fat tires... Made it look like a dirt bike
Thats the difference between picking a line or just blast through a section of trail

@LC2018 looks great! Welcome to the board.
