Hi All,
So a couple days ago I decided to clean the connectors behind the DS kick panel. There are three big blocks, and three smaller ones above. I had noticed a month or so ago that there was corrosion in several areas. I pulled the connectors apart, cleaned them with contact cleaner and little wire brush. Put everything back together today, and aside from the seats going back and forth, the window working, and the immobilizer light flashing, there's nothing. I checked the battery voltage and it looked fine. Tried jumping it with my wife's car...nada. No dashboard lights, no dinging, no radio, no auxiliary when pressing the start button, and of course no starting at all.
Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there a fuse that could of blown that would just completely shut everything down? Does the battery need to be disconnected for a substantial amount of time to reset? BTW- the truck had been running just fine. The cleaning I did was purely preventative and for remediation but has unfortunately led to a much bigger problem.
Thanks!
Jay
