I just had a quick question and what i say might not be totally accurate but i'll tell you what i was told. My mom said she was on her way to town this morning and was going around a curve i guess at around 40-50 mph, all the sudden the cruiser kinda slowed, like something had "seized" , then the back end was all over the place....i was stumped about all this except she mentioned seeing the VSC light on...she said that she didnt see any ice on the road at all, it looked all clean, maybe a little sand on the road but thats it. thanks.

thats the vehical stabilty controll(VSC) doing what its suppose to do, sounds normal to me(considering), sounds like mom was hauling ass around a corner......and the cruiser didnt like it, prolly started to brake loose and the staility controll kicked in.

Oh and I found out ABS is a PITA if your trying to jam the brakes on the asswipe that is tailgating you :D

the sensation of vsc actively participating in the piloting of the vehicle is quite disconcerting. if you want to get a relatively safe idea of how if feels, just do a slow (but hard) u-turn. the systems thinks you're out of control and just clamps down on the motion. it feels liek the thottle is closed and the brakes are ebing applied, much like running into a huge puddle of mud.

i do find it helpful when it's keeping the truck pointed straight on snow packed roads.

aaron
