heres the deal, the new crossmember i have puts the case in the way of the route i had the trac bar mounted, so it needs a different set-up. instead of a another crossmember i was thinking i could just set the shackle mount next to the case and leave the axle mount where it is. think of it like a centered axle in a cruiser with the stock case, crooked. so my question to the group,,, do ya'll think it will cause a problem? bend? not be adequate? BTW its pretty long and the torque on the shackle end is hardly anything.

as long as the shackle allows the movement and the bar is strong enough to deal with the stresses it will be fine. Just think of triangulated links..

pretty much what i was thinkin, but, i still dont know if i like it. i think i'm gonna keep it straight.
