I spoke with Troy yesterday and he said it was going to warm up soon down there. Might have to do another day of breakage down there this winter! Mike, I am sure your hangover is gone by now, mine is so think about another trip down!
We need to keep thinking about doing a trip down there for the first of many annual Ih8mud trip down there. Might have to start a new thread for this idea but I am thinking it is a must. I am thinking it would be great to either rent the campground up front or rent another site that I have in mind that will allow for alcohol.
Someone needs to get Woody excited to go for this trip. Might actually be a time to break some TLCA records...at least in the evening section. But not sugesting it be a TLCA only event though.
There will be a two and a half wine bottle per person limit per eve.........

Did you get a rear locker in that thing yet? You would be able to go just about anywhere in the pary if you had one, barring some more body damage....
Maybe I drive and you log the map.....

You would have been proud. I stood in a room at the deaaler while four guys attempted to explain to me how the sleave dropped in the alluminum block and that I needed a new engine. I listened to the bs for a few minutes and then told them I needed time to think about it. I mentioned to them that I was sorry that it took me so long to get back in town due to the fact that I was wheelin in Attica. They asked me what I was driving and I said a tune port injected 76 fj40 with a t350, 9" rear, discs all around and 37" tires. It was at that point that all three shtheads realized that they were basically talking out their asses to someone who might know a little more then he appears.I think they thought the khakies, button down, and loufers must be a retard....
All this cruiser stuff has sunken in just a bit over the years so when someone tells me my motor is bad and comes up with some wild reason as to how they know this without pulling the pan and pressure testing.......beyond me.
I was amazed to see their faces. You would have loved it. I told them I would call them in the am and walked out.
Much to my suprise they asked to do one more test of the coolant system with the pan dropped. 300$ later they determined the timing chain gasket was bad.
They called me 20 times to tell me what a suprise it was and what a deal I got...
Needless to say I am soon to be selling the thing once the weather breaks.

Great story about the Rover....
I can only say one thing about why I purchased the Rover.........My wife is very cool with my collection of cruisers and the amount of time and $ I dump towards them due to the fact that she was given her "dream" car.......And trust me, I deserve the sht I get for it cause it surely is a focked as it gets. It is honestly the worst riding suv (if you can call it one) that I have ever driven.
