Kris will have her new-to-her 80 series, and Gumby will have his 80 or his 55, either of which aren't gonna run the idiot trails....

there'll be lots from "all camps" there to play with.....

I might be just cruisin as well in the 40. That is if the thing starts when I dig it out of storage. Thankfully I changed all the fluids after the last trip out. I won't make it far with my tweaked tie rod set up anyways. Sure hope Troy can fab me up a spare prior to the trip.

Should be trails for every type of wheeler. That is the best part of the Badlands Offroad Park. You can drive an RV to the quary and watch folks roll. Great spectator spot with all levels right there. The place is great!

Did anyone notice Kenton did not say he is in for the trip yet?! Time to harass him!

Goebs

I'm only running moderates...first time wheeling anything other than a 40!

I'm coming from Cincy -- not certain how close that is for you from Lou/Lex area...I'm not very familiar with the bible belt ;-) Hit me if you wanna try to meet up somewhere. I left a vm for Fry Daddy yesterday -- haven't heard back from him -- I know he hasn't joined the rest of us in the 21st century of technology -- if anyone talks to him -- tell him to call me with their departure plans.

You won't be traveling anywhere near Louisville....
Anyway, if my 40 is running and running well and my wife takes the baby I'm in. But I'll be driving the 40 slowly from Cincy.

Cool, sounds like there'll be a few of us to conquer the moderate trails. If you're coming from Cincy we won't be near each other until after Indy. No biggie though, I'll see you there.

What time does this get started on Sat? Anybody meeting at a specific time?

It's about a 7 hour ride from Akron, OH.

Tim and I will be leaving after work on Friday and driving sound towards Cbus and then taking I-70W.

We hope to make it in the AM. Is there a good breakfast place nearby that anyone knows of?

We'll probably crash in the rig Friday night someplace on the road and then roll in in the AM with a breakfast stop.

I believe Badlands opens up at 9am and stays open till 5pm.

We'll also be wheeling half the day on Sunday if anyone is interested.

See you all there.
Cheers.

Akron, OH

It should be on EST
Beno...If I go, I'll probably leave cincy early Sat. morning and meet you guys there and camp on sat.

Hey Marty--

Tim and I are planning on camping Saturday night too...there a are a few parks in the area--including the 'city park'--it seems. I'm going to scout it out beforehand.

Get working on that thing so we can all tear it up :grinpimp:

Don't worry--I'll help you fix whatever we brake....we'll get Nick in on the action too...

Nick will be here in the morning, isn't he the greatest? Technically I'm supposed to goto a party that sat. night but I'm trying to get out of it.

I'm definitely in for the half day on Sunday. I plan on leaving mid-day on Friday -- if I can get out of the office. -- Wheel Saturday and Sunday.

Kris

I'm in for Friday, Saturday, & Sunday if she holds together.

Just droped in the 30 spline chromoly super set from Bobb L., so, got no spares.

What - Bon Fire and B.S. session.
Where - Romney Indiana (21 miles east of Attica on SR-28)
When - Saturday 12/3/05 6:00p.m. til whenever.
Why - ?

BYOB -or- $ for the keg relief effort.

Ample floor space and barn loft for the inebriated to crash-n-burn
(BYO Sleeping bag and Pillow FIRST COME FIRST SERVE)

Their'll be a few jeep people there to beat down.

P.M. Me or post up if you're interested and I'll get you directions/contact info. Also need a head count for keg purposes. (Gonna be light domestic so no special orders, if ya drink anything darker than mule piss, bring it yourself.)

Yeah, It's nice only an hour and a half away from Attica.:flipoff2:

AJ,
Your offer to stay in Romney is sounding good, might have to.

Beno,
if the barn too full, the Indy guys know of a campsite that's about 7 miles away from Badlands.

AJ I may be in for the romney trip and barn. I plan on wheeling on Sunday as well and I'm only in on the moderate trails as I can not seem to find the time to work on my sliders.

Cruiser Larry if you want to ride along if your rig isn't ready you can meet me at my place early Saturday morning. Call me (812)442-1296.

I'm trying to work a trade at work so I'm on days not nights that week, rotating shifts suck!!!

I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you other MUD members.

Chad P.

Yea I talked to Fryddaddy today. I think we are headed out Thursday about midnight. Yea our plans started early, and still nothing set in stone.

Reservations made for Thur Fri and Sat, Those Guys are comming. I forgot to ask what or where the hotel is. oops.

Woody, are we doing any street driving? My tabs are expired, and the Street Rod plate won't be here for a while (I should order it:idea: )

What route would you think would work best for us to get down there?

http://www.hotelattica.com/

as you come into town, there is a NAPA on a NE stoplight corner....head N there into downtown. Thru one stopsign, and the hotel is on the left side. Street parking with trailers has always been OK, but try and leave the area in front of the hotel open, since they get pretty busy on prime rib nite ;)

We trailer from the hotel to the park, so zero street time...unless Goeb has us setup for the offsite, in which case there is a couple miles. I wouldn't sweat it tho.

The park is the opposite direction from the Hotel...at the NAPA light, head south, thru one stop sign, past the trailer park and cemetary, and the entrance is on the right.

I'll find a map today LAME and see on a route, but I'd figger interstate to be the quickest...and if it's after 8p when you hit Chicago, I'd risk the run thru downtown too and skip the loop around. I94 clear thru Chicago, stay STRAIGHT on 394 South, turns 2-lane for a bit but does cut off traffic, the pickup 41S straight to Attica (hell, your route is similar to mine...I do 41 to 94 to 394 back to 41....)
