Hello and thank you for reading this thread.

I am installing a new brake booster and master cylinder I traded with a friend as a parts swap, on my 96 fzj80 with the 1fze engine. The service manual indicates I need a SST 09737-0010 Brake Booster Pushrod Gauge. No access to that specific gauge. However, I do have access from another friend who has a SST 09737-00012-01 , is there a difference,,, is the 0012-01 just a upgraded tool from the one required, and still can be used on my cruiser? or is it vehicle model dependent? Any toyota technicians on here have the insight on this ? Can anybody with a SST 09737-0010 gauge take a picture of theirs and if possible some general measurements. I would like to compare with the one my friend has. I did a search on this site and many others and got nothing specific, any info would be of great help. I know you can measure in other ways,, but seems for me SST tool makes it a easier process.

Many thanks for reading and posting any info:cheers:

Thank you Kernal for your response, much appreciated. The only Toyota OTC Booster Pushrod Gauge tools For sale i found after another long Internet search is. 09737-00012-01. And 09737-00013. The 00013 model is the most different of the 3 tool models . Can I use any of these on my 96 cruiser? Seems as if the original 09737-00010 sst is not available for sale anymore,,,anyone else with any input,,, would be greatly appreciated
