I got this email today. Not a huge deal since nothing I ordered is a rush.

Dear Valued Serra Toyota of Decatur Customer,

You are receiving this email because you may have an open order with our online store. Due to high demand and high order volume, we’re experiencing delays in order processing. We are working quickly to process orders in a timely fashion.

As always, we thank you for being a Serra Toyota of Decatur customer, and we appreciate your patience during this time. If you have any questions, you can contact a member of our team at (snipped).

FWIW, I've never received a poorly packed or padded box of parts from Olathe, Boch or McGregor parts. I imagine it comes down to a lot of local factors like culture at the specific dealership, supervision, level of training and potentially even work ethic of the person doing the packing. With all of the labor shortages these days, I think some places are hiring any warm body that agrees to show up for a shift. We've had businesses shut down or reduce hours because they simply can't staff their operations.

I think you are correct. I had never received any poorly packaged order either until now. I got a notice that my replacements for the damaged items have shipped within an hour of when I talked to the dealer yesterday, so customer service was good from the manager.

I got my air filters shipped individually in large USPS priority mail boxes. Shipping was probably more than the cost of the filter 🤷‍♂️. The rest of it was shipped in regular brown boxes.

Chatham replaced my damaged filters without issue. They showed up yesterday, wrapped and double wrapped and packed with bubble wrap. All good on them, will order from them again if sale comes back around.

Psa. Double check to make sure you received all the parts that you ordered. There was a part missing from my shipment.

I got the canned email that said it may take awhile. From Serra Toyota of Decatur.

I am missing 11 parts but after contacting them (Decatur) he said all of the parts hadn't arrived and they were waiting for me to move to ship to the new address.
There was nothing in the emails to indicate that they hadn't shipped everything so you might email them and see if they are still waiting for some parts.

I emailed Village Toyota on Saturday morning. They responded with tracking number and new shipment for my missing part. So, it is on its way.

I also received ACCUMULATORS (49141-60020 and 49151-60020) directly off the jdm-planet.com site and received them.

Now have a stock pile of parts.

What did you pay for accumulators? I got mine for $450 shipped from impex. They’re enroute.

@04UZJ100 I paid $531.21 USD = ¥58,600 JPY (includes paypal fees for currency exchange rate) for jdm-planet.com for four accumulators.

FWIW - If you have a credit card with no foreign transaction fee (Chase Sapphire, etc....), cheaper to pay in JPY yen. 58,600 JPY = $477.38 via today's exchange rate.

Just switch to paying in Yen in Paypal.

So no one has their shipment from Decatur yet (me included)?! At least we're all in the same boat...er, cruiser.
I don’t have mine. Everything I ordered are spares so I’m not waiting on anything crucial.

I haven't gotten anything
No updated email and no shipments.

Nothing ordered was urgent but hoping the shipment gets to my son before he leaves college for the summer!
