i'm hoping to avoid reading all 20 pages of the "$80/L gear oil" thread. What part did you order? If i reemmber correctly, its 8-9 L total for the TC and diffs.
I know what you mean about reading long threads! Only about 1.5L of the special expensive 75W T-Case oil is needed for a full change. The F/R diffs can use any high quality 75-90W oil. I use Mobil 1 for those. The part number for the 75W oil is 08885-81080.

Ravenol makes straight synthetic 75 weight that meets Toyota's specs. 2 LT runs ~ $40 shipped. Plastic cans have an extendable nozzle so NO spills and no funnel needed.

Depending on how OCD you want to get, there are some details in that thread that are interesting. Specifically the odd color and smell to the virgin 75w unicorn tear stuff.. I just have to wonder what is so special about it.

But, I started that thread and am as OCD as just about anyone, and I went with the ravenol stuff for my last change. In large part because of the awesome fill tube system they have on their bottles.

Also my final tally for this sale was 59 items MSRP for $2500 not including shipping, totaling $1327. I feel like I owe @Hayesthebuilder a bottle of scotch or something..

I've been stalking your parts tab in the google sheet - good stuff!

While the sentiment is appreciated, I’m more of a bourbon guy. The wife is the scotch drinker of the house.

But as little as I’ve contributed to this community and as much information that I’ve obtained, I am super glad to see so many folks were able to make use of this! Happy trails to the lot of ya!

Technically that is a copy I made for public consumption and to maintain some privacy.. the real one had quite a few things added for this bonanza.

But I appreciate the interest.

I came in just under you...$1258. Now I need to find a few more things to push the tally up!

All parts are for a 2016 cruiser.

Left caliper 47750-60320
Right caliper 47730-60320
Brake rotor (2) 43512-60210
Caliper bolt (4) 90105-14198
Crush washer (2) 47389-50020

Run whatever tundra pads you prefer.

Splash shield swap is optional. Details on fitment of 08-15 in Teckis thread. With the great prices I’m just doing them. This requires loosening cv nut and removing bearing from knuckle.
Left splash shield 47704-60100
Right splash shield 47703-60100

Following parts are if you change splash shields
Cv nut cotter pin (2) 95381-04045
Bearing to knuckle oring (2) 90301-99182
Cv nut grease cap (2) 43514-34020
I'm thinking about upgrading my 14 LX to 16 LC brake.
Does it fit with 17" aftermarket wheel?
Any significant difference between pre-16 brake vs 16+ brake?

Rock warriors clear and some other 17s do, maybe icon? but the clearance is very very tight. Many other 17s don’t.

The 16+ brakes are simply about an inch larger diameter, very similar to the tundra swap only instead of having to adapt different lines we have to drill the mounting holes in the knuckle slightly larger. See Teckis’ diy bbk thread..

So, what's the deal with all the wiper blade refill, rubber, etc? If I just want to replace my wiper blades do I need all these parts you ordered or just some and you are stocking?

For the brake rotors and pads, is that all we need too? I feel nothing wrong with my brakes, but have 56k miles on the clock and might just replace them all to start fresh. Am I crazy to do that with my mileage?

Thanks
If you have the original equipment wipers, the refills are the way to go. IF they've ever been replaced by anything else, including the "Toyota" branded Sightline wipers most dealer parts departments carry, you may need the full wiper. I used this sale to stock up on refills. so much better than anything else available aftermarket on the 200.

When I do brakes and rotors, I always like to have a set of hardware on hand. On the front, the pins can corrode or get stuck, and on the rear, the clips that the pads slide in can usually stand to be refreshed. You also don't want to have to stop mid-job because of a torn slider boot on the rear. Even if you don't use them this time, you probably will eventually. I also always keep a tub of caliper slide grease handy, but that's from a regular auto parts store.

Thanks. I am the second owner to my LC. How do I know if I have the OEM from factory? Any particular telling?

On the brakes, I might just buy the rotors and pads and take to the dealer. Unfortunately I am not mechanics/engineering gifted like most here. :)

Dealers here don't usually use outside parts and private shops usually charge additional labor per hour with customer supplied parts. I only say that because you may be better off financially paying for their parts directly, rather than bringing your own.

I just ordered 50 parts, about 30 of those were for brake pads and rotors including ALL of the hardware.

What did you order? I ordered parts for a caliper/rotor/pads replacement and feel like I may have missed a thing or 20. :)

That's the brake parts, I also ordered a bunch of filters and other items for my 4runner and Camry.

Oh... I see.
It's no go for my 17" wheels then :(
