I'd be careful towing heavy rigs with the 100.

long story short one of the trailer tires blew out and made the trailer roll, we were running 60-65 on the freeway. There was no time to do anything but pucker up. I looked in the rear view and the trailer was perpendicular to the 100 and that's when I knew we were going over. Im not sure how many time the trailer rolled but when it did consequently it rolled my 100 over twice landing back on its wheels. Both trucks were totaled. We didn't have a single bump or scratch. The trailer tongue was torn off but the chains held.
I know this is an old thread but was wondering if anyone has pulled a decent size boat with the Slee bumper hitch? I think mine will be fine but I do get a lot of slack and movement in the 8" drop ball mount. My boat is a 20 foot G3 aluminum bass boat with a 200 HP outboard and dual axle trailer. The boat is 1500 pounds, motor is 500 pounds, and guessing the trailer is 1000 pounds. So 3000 pounds all together but the dual axle trailer takes a lot of weight off the tongue. Does anyone have a good suggestion for a good ball mount that doesn't move a lot? I have 295/75R16 tires and a 2.5" OME lift but after getting the bigger boat I don't think I need a full 8" drop now so would probably be better off with an adjustable ball mount.
Here's pics of my 100 and the boat I plan on pulling. I guess it sounded like I've pulled it but I have not pulled this boat with the 100 yet but I did pull my old boat that was a 17.5' with a single axle trailer. I've been using my DC Tacoma to pull the boat and it's a little too much boat for the Tacoma's 4.0 V6.
