Anyone here done any research or have any experience with 12v solar gear/panels?

Starting to eyeball a small solar setup for the 100. This plus a snorkel should solidify my overlanding status.

I have a small one 14x14 that I bought to keep my trailer 12v battery hot when I had an enclosed trailer. I'm not sure if it works more than a trickle charger.

As for the snorkel. The model that Slee had on the first 100 he built that we went to Canada in really is clean looking on a 100. The one Hagan has looks too much like the one on my 60. Are they both available?

Thx. And honestly I was joking on the snorkel. Won't ever cut a hole in my fender of my 100. I hope... 40 is gonna get one tho.

What did you power with the kit you had? Interested in basically negating the drain on my battery if stationary for an extended period.

Trailer sideways then 2 buggies on trailer. I think it was 34' total.

Towed it with single axle bone stock 03 Duramax. I'd get 6-7 mpg at times. We made 6 trips out west with that setup. 2 to SoCal and 2 to Phoenix and Las Crucas twice.

In the desert it's good to get off the ground. Once we came back and Jim's RV-4 had blown away. That was the last we ever saw of it.

Yeah, i did a ton of reading on this model and found a lot of great reviews, very very few negatives. Wanted to make sure I wasn't getting something dumped on me instead of getting my money back.

In the end decided to give it a shot. If it's crap I'll just go the $50 coleman tent route from here on out. Tired of worrying about it.
