Will a M416 wheel fit on a M100?

I thought there were some differences. Did Louis try to fit one?

I put mine under the front end using an old spare tire strap mount that we robbed off the Grand Wagoneer.
Minimal welding and drilling made it happen.

@BMThiker, that is a great spot to put the spare. The tire simply slides over that hump in the middle? How is it staying in there without bouncing around?

One side of the strap is hinged and the other has a bolt-through-eyelet bracket. I can tighten up the bolt enough that it squeezes the sidewall of the spare a bit. The hump in the middle really just helps center it when mounting/unmounting the spare. When it was still on the G.Wagoneer it had a j-hook and center cap that held the spare onto the strap - I ditched those.

This one was interesting with built in tailgate until I found out it was 2600 lbs. Even after removing the extra junk and swapping about a lighter axle I'm guessing it would be still heavy with that stout box.
