That looks like part of the tornado damage from last week.
 
I really hope that's Tornado damage and not accident damage. I want my LC to hold up better than that in the event of an accident. Plus I don't want to think about people being inside the vehicle.
 
Is that the transmission radiator on the rear passenger-side wheel?

That's either extreme speed and a solid object or a freak accident. You can't destroy the upper part of the LC like that in any other way.
 
My initial reaction before the pictures was that to check this out. After looking, I wouldn't think there would be much left to salvage, maybe the rear axle or something.

Called them up they said they bought it from auction and don't know what happened to it...probably not enough time to go through insurance and an auction to be tornado damage...that's terrible.
 
Photo is dated 3/13 so I'm rulling out recent tornados. My opinion is that it appears to be a head on collision with another vehicle, or object with impact to the passenger side with subsequent rollover. JOL were used for extraction and leftover parts (of vehicle) were thrown back into the car to clean up wreck site. Real bad wreck for sure but this practice of cleaning up makes it look even worse. Prayers for sure for the occupants as I'm sure there were injuries.

that's the rear AC evaporator coil.
 
Really disturbing to see stuff like this when your wife and kids are the primary users of the Land Cruiser on road.

My sympathies to the original passenger(s).

Even hitting a solid object like a concrete bridge support at 80mph probably wouldn't rip half the car off the full length of the car like this. I suspect a collision with a train but google doesn't turn up any results like that.

I noticed the date of 3/13 and that it would seem to quick to go through insurance.

It does look lik epart of the pillars and roof were cut up with the JOL.

Scary mojo right there.

Those pics send a bit of a chill up my spine. I don't think even Mr. Slee would have helped in this situation.
