Anyone up for a torsion bar crank near Los Angeles? Just got a set of BFG KO2's on and would love to level the truck out. No tools and garage at my disposal :/ What about adjusting the height sensors?

I don't think height sensors are a thing on a 04 TLC. You need a breaker bar ($20) and a 30 mm socket ($10). Jack up your truck and adjust some torsion bar bolts. Not hard at all. $30 Home Depot trip and a flat surface. You got this.

I raised the front an inch over stock and one of my cv boots tore after about a week. Some have not had any boot problems others do. Probably more of a rubber brittleness issue than a lift height issue. Old rubber does not like change.

Any recommendations besides 4wheel parts in Redondo Beach?
One of the members was nice enough to help me out, but I don't see myself in San Diego any time soon....

Just wanna do a good 1.5" rank since I have the bigger tires.

Thanks everyone!
Don't ever take anything to 4wheelparts. This is the easiest thing to do and for sure they'd screw it up and then lie to you about it. Ask how I know...I was pressed for time and had them install some airlift 1000 and it was the most incompetent job I'd ever seen. Turned something simple into a general public safety problem. You can buy what they sell but don't let them touch your rig

I'm a noob also, but I'm going to be doing it this Sat (10/24) morning. I'm putting 33s on tomorrow...and ordering my 2.5" OME lift kit with diff drop and UCA's next week, but I want it level for the time being since my friends may not be available until Jan to do lift kit install party.

I'm in Santa Clarita, PM me if anyone else wants to come watch. I'll be at a fellow LC buddy's house helping him with his 62 series.

Just to clarify, step by step, you lift truck, put each side on jack stand (remove wheel/tire, let axle on that side hang), then tighten torsion bar bolt, put tire back on, let it down and measure....???
