Tool for removing screws on engine plate???

Does anyone have an idea on the best way to remove? It seems impossible to find a 5/8 flat tip. I need to remove to replace the gasket behind. Thanks All.

They're staked. They come out easily if you grind out a tiny bit in that area where the plate steel is pushed into the screw slot. A Dremel works well. You might even be able to clear it by tapping a sharp flat screwdriver blade outward where the slot meets the plate.

After I "unstaked the stakes" I used the Dremel to make a decent 5/8 blade screwdriver out of an extra cold chisel I had.
