WOO HOO!

It doesn't seem to be moly fortified. I use Vavoline SynPower, fully synthetic. I'm heavy on the skinney and have yet to break a birf on my 80s even the factory loads with over 250k on them. Easily found locally also.

Just food for thought.

Repairing a well tweaked windshield frame. The parts department at Poor Wally's Landcruiser Emporium hooked me up with
a straight frame. A little bit of rust on the new frame should be repaired. Going to cut a patch out of the bent frame and weld it
into the new one.

Had to pull trans out just to replace leaking slave cylinder on my gmc 3500. Not the greatest design.

Started to tackle eliminating the sag in the rear end of my 40 today. I have four new shocks, bushings, spring pins, shackle bolts for all four corners, and new shackles (stock) for the front. @SouthBostonFJ40 gave me some used, stock springs a while back, and I was hoping the rear springs would be in better shape than my current springs. When I look at the rear spring I just removed on the floor of my shop next to the proposed replacements, they all look to have the same arch, so I'm thinking I won't solve the sag problem using those springs.

More pictures and questions here: Rear shackle ID and replacement options?

Would love any advice / thoughts you guys have.

I keep smashing brake lights. Moved them to the roll cage.;)
