My ABS light was on when I took it in and they didn't say
anything about it.
The one thing they did say (more than once) was
"those are BIG tires"!

Got her legal today.

I got the ol' annual inspection and plate tabs. Yeah!?.... Now I just need to wash it for the fall gathering. Whee.

Finished the sandblasting today and WE HAVE PAINT.

Wheel it like it is Flintstone style!!!!

Pulled the truck out today to add that quart of oil that I've been meaning to add for a week. I opened the hood and found a wet spot under the fuel pump. Yes, its gas. Luckily, I had a brandy new pump sitting in the parts stash. Better now, than on Thursday.

So did a little work to grace today to get her ready for fall gathering.

first thing this morning my buddy Brendan came over and we took the engine out of the truck.

Pulled a Jasper 22re up next to it and swapped over some components.

Bam! Jasper mated!

Brendan had to leave but i was able to slam it in and sit it down on the mounts.

Tomorrow comes a bunch of wire chasing and plugging ins and turning of keys.

Burn baby Burn!

Nice Nate! Looks like you've done this before!

I don't know man. Sounds like Grace has been a round the block before......

Looks good Nate. I think you win the last minute wrenching award.

So is she running?

well i put it all together and it didn't start right up so i left. ill go back out and look at her in a few minuets but if i cant get it to start easy ill troubleshoot it tomorrow.

Painted the bottom of the frame today. I tried to do it yesterday but it happened to be raining and i ended up with fish eyes so I gave up. I highly recommend SEM Rust Sheild. Great stuff!!!

Sounds like you are making great progress Jason... I will have to stop by and check it out when I get home.

Cleaned the old girl up and then set to investigating hot rear wheel I noticed yesterday. Stuck brake cylinders. Rebuild Ho! Worn out linings to boot. Fun ahead to be sure.
