Link to build thread?

No link yet. I haven't started the thread. I'll do it by the weekend.

I noticed that kinda strange? But I barely noticed anything else:lol:

You mentioned the mouse crap. I removed the front seat, funny how the rain brings out the smell of mouse piss.

Replaced my starter in the 60 from my FG incident, cleaned a liitle more mud out of the clutch also, and a fluid change. Still need to pull out the carpet, has I nice pond smell to it

I am always tinkering (trying to get/ keep Wilma on the road) and some what safe :) seems she is a part time job. but one project I have been working on for 4 years is variable speed wipers. and finally I have success. my fj45lv 's stock wipers are one speed. so I got a variable speed (intermittent, slow, fast) switch from SOR for an OZ spec hj47. then I got a couple of fj62 wiper motor ( I think the one I used was rebuilt or part of Ken F. horde of parts so I figure it is probably better than new now :) then came the fun part getting it to all work together.
the lv's wiper assembly is along the firewall inside unlike all the other fj40's so i had to use the stock linkage.ofcourse the fj62 motor is a 3 bolt mount vs the stock motors 2 bolt mount and the housings mount opposite. .
anyway it finally all came to gather (thanks Jim C for setting up the wiring eons ago but I now have fog wipers, which in my neck of the woods is a must.

installed the hard top on the 40 today

New brake pads on the front of the 80. Super easy.

I love doing brakes on my 80. Piece of cake.

Replaced my caved in door this weekend. Wiring harness was different. So I had to swap my old wiring harness in the replacement door. Piece of cake. But one thing I noticed the old harness did not have a door light lead. Mine does. Did not all 80 come with a door light?
So after I had everything hooked up I found out the window motor was dead. So I had to swap that out with my old one that I knew worked. Everything works now as it should. Also when did Toyota start putting in door bars? This 94 has one.

More progress this weekend with Wally: Engine harness installed, oem harness in, clutch master installed, connected and working, brake booster with FZJ80 master on, air cleaner on, new fenders on, oil cooler on.

Starting the engine and paint prep are next! Split hood and 25 bib waiting patiently.

Need to find a late model windshield frame as this one is toast. Anyone got a decent one they'd be willing to sell?

And the 80 master clears the hood with the RHD? I tried it with my 45 and was going to need to modify the hood. Although you rubber cap looks smaller.

Looking good Randy. Can't wait to see it all together.

Looking good Randy!
