Figured buying a house was a smarter move then investing ~20+ k into a single cab truck that would be a toy when I have the 77.
Also didn't have the time/space/$$ to do such a project in the end, things changed.

Dude just south of Dawson Creek bought it brand new in PG and used it up here as a work truck, I saw it everywhere with two quads on the back when I first moved up here 8 years ago, then I last saw it like 3 years ago, think he got a gov. job, so now he sits in an office and he took it off the road. Then he put it up on the Swamp Donkey Section, Foreal got all over it, I went to have a look at it for him and thing was tight, needed some work but really sweet truck, then Foreal flipped it to the other guy there in Squamish and he put a ton of work into it to make it all shiney and now is flipping it again. Sounds like it will be quite the sweet truck when he is finished.

Odd that a 77 would have 4 wheel drums, a front bench, long jump seats, no roll bar...

There seems to more there than meets the eye. Where was it imported from?

Jump from $5500 to $12,500 seems a little steep... Now it includes the PTO winch... That's worth annother $7,000.

I wasn't the only one who saw $5500 was I?

I saw it and talked with owner at YYJ on Friday. He said it was originally from Costa Rica and has B, not 3B, engine. He also said that he had it appraised and based on that he increased the asking price.

This is not his first Cruiser. I think that 40 conversion to pickup with old Ford box was his too.

This one looks a little rougher in person than the pictures show.

I do remember this guy from a nice parking lot conversation... seemed like a bit of a tool out to lunch to say it kindly.

(yes, in my world, calling someone an "out to lunch tool" is neutral and pc. :flipoff2:)
