Spuds is right about adding steering, though the 83-84BJ42s are getting harder to find... Not just power steering, ya gots five speed also.....which I know you already know....:grinpimp:

Oh and there is the nifty pull out dash.

I like to think of der schizernugen as being like that boat Johnny Depp was sailing in one of those pirate movies.

It sank as it approached the dock, but slowly enough that he was able to step off the masthead onto the dock without getting his feet wet.

I would say at least half that cost, cause if the body is that bad the frame is probably need of effort plus maintenance on everything that hasn't been done, the gaser looked like it had a nicer body, I would look at that one but funds are going to car now. :bang:

good experiment to see if you're ready, stand next to a road grader's exhaust with it running at full throttle, have a friend shake you violently by the shoulders, and have another bash pots and pans together right behind your head.
( a few smears of grease and oil on your pants may be necessary for full effect.)

Do that for an hour, and if you still feel fresh and ready for a work day, then you can commute in a 40. :hillbilly:
