Yeah thats my old truck. The 3b is a 3 bearing, out of Adam's old 60 (see thread). Was pretty clean rust wise etc when I sold it but has lived a bit of a rough life post sale I think. Had a collision repair to the front left fender, could use that to negotiate maybe.. the starter and ring gear was fussy when I sold it, so check that. Otherwise it was a great truck.

Also, not eligible for export to the US as it has had a diesel swap (though it could probably be snuck through and maybe negated since it came from Washington), but a potential negotiating point.

What’s more rare than an old Land Crusier from the 80’s? That
old suburban in the back ground. Yeah, cause only japanese cars rust. LOL
 
My Dad's business partner had a 6-cyl 3/4-ton Suburban of that vintage (poo brown as well). It had worse fuel mileage and was slower than our 2F FJ55! It really was a POS.

My friend Scott got the guys number but I'm just not in the mood to deal with this. Surgical pain. I'll ask him for it.

Details​

Rebuilt within 3000km. My engine was having issues and I’m ls swapping my truck now so it has to go. T-case is not for sale and is removed from the trans. This transmission has the 21spline input for a 3b. If you need it for a 2f, 3f, or any number of landcruiser engines you can swap the input shaft to suit

Based on the estimate I got from ICBC, I’d say $20-30k would get it back on the road. $7000 seems crazy. Not long ago that’d be a $500 project.
