It has been upgraded to have free spool. Originally sold on a Jccp.

I’d bet there’s a straight 6 under the hood of this “FJ Cruiser”.

Didn’t bother taking a new picture after, as he puts it, “I done rust repair on doors, and roof…”.

I especially love it when there are pictures of different rims & tires, and other things. I really wouldn’t want to know what I would be paying $25k for.

Wonder what that cutting job that had this as leftovers was?

Fairly cheap for clean steel chunks tho.

Anyone planning to crate ship their rig. All you’d need to add is a 4” hole in the middle and 6 stud holes.

not mine, I would love to buy it but don't have the space

I've seen that one around and it looks good. That is a hell of a good deal in todays market. Jeeez. If I was an a****** I'd buy it and flip it.

Somethings are not right about it:

- It’s a fj60 body from a gas cruiser. 1988? those had square headlights.

- Says 3b motor and with a 4speed trans so it’s a 1983 or earlier 3b likely ~ not the worst.

- 4speed in a 1988 so it’s had a downgrade on the transmission.

- Says it has ac that’s really rare for a 3b around here. Probably cobbled the previous gas motor’s ac compressor brackets to the 3b somehow.

- tire alignment on a solid axle? After they been into the front end, hopefully just a toe adjustment issue? But they shouldn’t be working on cruisers if they can’t figure that out.

Sounds like a basket case to me. Almost every part of this truck has been cobbled together from parts off other cruiser’s worked on by who knows! However for that price in todays market it might be the going rate for the amount of work you would have to put into it.

Two words... Rust free.

IF that's true (big if) the rest doesn't matter. :meh:

Only one picture.

I actually believe I met this cruiser before. If it’s the one I’m thinking of the body is pretty clean.. but they used a picture here from years ago for the dating site.

Actually emailed… no surprise, no reply.

Most likely a scam or an intentional misrepresentation of a total puss bucket.

If it’s too good to be true…. well, you know the rest.

Crusty

1995 4Runner $2000

Has a burnt exhaust valve on cylinder #4. I have no motivation to fix it. Still runs and drives, has a rough idle. Within the last 3,000km I've replaced the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, belts, cat back exhaust, rear window motor, cap and rotor. Comes with Thule roof racks. Has some body rust but frame is great.

- windshield replaced in March

- alternator replaced last year

- lower ball joints, cv axles replaced in 2019

- 33x10.5 Hankook dyna pros installed in 2019, lots of tread left

- A/C system serviced this year
