Had a chance for a quick drive by since I was close but couldn't talk to the sales guys much. The body actually looks very good. Inside by the rockers at the front door the floor is just starting to bubble up a little. The firewall where the steering column and brake master are is starting to bubble up and will need to be sanded/painted. The front cowl not worth repairing, should be replaced as the entire bottom lip of it is done. the fenders are mint, the floor overall is mint, the sides are very good, the rockers are solid. The back needs the corner pieces around the bottom of the door patched and redone. Around a couple windows in the back there is rust creping up but it's minor and most should be able to repair just with sanding. There is one place where the pillar right behind the driver needs to get worked on. The bottom 1.5" needs to get replaced as it's rusted through. The other side looks like it just needs a bit of sanding. The window frames of the sliding windows in the back (so not the body but the separate window frames) need to be replaced as they are rotted a bit. All of the seals on all of the doors need to be replaced, you can fit your finger through them with the door closed. There is some fresh water gathering on the floor up front because of that. The roof is solid, the wheel wells are solid the frame is in great condition with minor surface rust here and there. The engine (didn't fire up as I had no time) has surface rust on it but the oil is black and doesn't look too bad. It has an AC pump but looks like not the factory one since it doesn't sit well in the factory AC bracket and doesn't line up to the pulleys. Everything else looks like it belongs. Couple wiring splices in there and one of the owners did some kind of weird ignition kill thing to it that can go away. The doors up front are starting to need some attention at the bottom but all pretty much surface so far.
The biggest worry I would have is the registration. The one guy there told me they are selling it as parts only because it has not been registered in BC and they are selling it for someone else so they don't want to bother. Like U Cruiser mentioned, the previous owner bought it and put it in storage. Sounds fishy. Since it has US Texas plates on it, it all depends on how it was brought into BC, if it was brought in as a parts only truck then have fun registering it. Need to deal with the border guys for that. Of course, it could also have been stolen out of the US as a worst case scenario. Or it might be as easy as slap a battery in it and take it to Crappy tire for a regi inspection and drive it home.
