Are those power numbers right? Seems really low to me? My 1FZ is 215hp and 280 something ft/lbs.

lol I don't know where he got his numbers from but according to wiki and I am going off the 1HD-FT Numbers it says.... 168HP @ 3600RPM and 280FT/LBS @ 2500RPM.... His add states 129HP/210FT/LBS

26k for an 80 series without a winch or lockers and on top of that has 200,000km on the odometer? That's not even a 20k rig.

If my price range was 26k I'd be holding off for a Troopy

Hah yeah ill stick to my truck that I got 2 years ago for 10G less with 120000kms less... Thats a lesser model than a VX limited by the looks of it but it does have rear A/C... possible cool factor.

I could see that price for a LHD converted rig but not this one that's sitting in a salt belt with pictures from Japan lol

Give it a year, I'll be bringing one in

Now that can't be true! we're supposed to be busy in school ;)

I stole the link from the for sale section :p

I think I saw this one the other day. I was just leaving BCIT and waiting for the bus and this thing went around the corner and the turbo kicked in and it was off. I had to take a double take when I saw him in the Left hand seat... I thought it was a conversion thou, and maybe is?

Part it out!!!!! I ill buy the engine. You have my number.;)

:hmm: I'd consider parting it out except that lack of shop space is the deciding factor right now. I'll give you a ring later this week, pick your brain for ideas.

And of course there is this gem: 1981 BJ42 Toyota Land Cruiser

Yes, the posted price is up there. If you know someone serious to buy a BJ42 tell them to make me a reasonable offer. I know I'll regret this...

If was not working day shift today and tomorrow the batteries would be off the battery minders, into the truck and I would be driving it around. Sure feels like spring!

FJ45 in Vic FS

I heard a rumour that the frame on that 45 wants a close looking at.

More so than usual...

Here are some pics the owner sent me last October when it was first listed I think. It's tempting, but it is a restoration candidate for sure. Rust (varying degrees) in every panel, just like mine!
