TLC ICON in Austin

Has any one else spotted a Icon driving around town? It's OD green, with a black top. I think it was a 4 door... It was drving very fast going the oposite direction I was going, down spicewood springs road today. you could hear the roar of the Vortec.

Charles Maund has one. It's for sale! $250,000.00 and its yours. Mr. Maund drives it back and forth a bunch switching with the Porsche.

it's a cool looking thing. only thing it's like 90% chevy. hell he could of gotten a fj-40 and put a chevy motor in it and had some thing closer to a land cruiser.

Yeah, the salesman I spoke with at first guessed at $150,000 plus but he returned after speaking with the one of the brothers Maund and revised to a quarter mil. I don't think he really wants to sell it. Just likes showing it off. Nothing Toyota about the truck. Just the design.

I have a 40 with a Chevy motor, and I'll take less than $250K! Much less!

I showed my wife the Icon at Charles Maund. She was ... surprised at how much of what Mr. Ward "created" was already done on my FJ40 a few years earlier.
