TJM Pro Locker Air Locking Differential - YouTube

Well, only time will really tell as for parts availability. We already have a strong relationship with US division, and are going to be stocking the small parts. In OZ, theyve been around for quite a while, and will be for years to come. I also foresee less instances that small parts will be needed. Most small parts we ship for ARB's would be O-Rings, Seal housings, etc, that the TJM does not use.

The TJM locker is actually more expensive, but we are offering them at about $100 less than ARB, since they are new to the USA. Another added benifit is that they come with the required 32010x carrier bearings ($70+ value) thus making them about $170 less each.

Dont get me wrong I love ARB air lockers, I am just sharing the facts of some pro's of the TJM. ARB certainly has them beat at this point in time in the USA for brand recognition, application range, etc.

Hey Carl .. how that piston " locks " ...?

I've always liked the design of the TJM's over the ARB's, i've also always liked the design of their bull bars over the ARB's aswell.

With that being said I think ARB makes a great product and i'm not looking to ditch mine anytime soon, but if I had to start over........

They make a model that will work in the rear of an FJ60?

They will honor warranty no matter tire size you have . ?

David, have you dealt with an ARB warranty that was denied? I personally have not. If it was within the warranty period and broken, they took care of it, simple as that.

Keep in mind my earlier comments are now 3 years old when TJM was exiting the US market not re-entering it ;)

Hello My friend ..

about your question yes ..

main.php

end buying and new ARB .. Michael T from ARB told me that ARB would not warranty ARB lockers on oversized tires .. :frown:

Bummer, I've never had a warranty denied on a locker part but I have customers deal with me. I send out a replacement locker while I deal with ARB on the warranty.

So how fast was the non-stuck tire spinning when you decided to press the lock button?

40KPH?

Anyone know if you have to drill and tap the third for the air line? Or just drill a hole??

Wow, that wasnt quite 40k/hr!

Not impressed with ARB based on your video, I would be tempted to try the TJM myself.

Its funny because of how much of a sales pitch you see from ARB about how indestructable their product is, and then tencha breaks it like a pretzel in some greasy looking mud.

:meh:

Nice video tapage!

I've never experienced any failures on my ARB lockers. Had lockers on my 40 and Dana 60 axles.

To be honest I'm still using and believing in ARB air lockers .. and that was complicated situation where all the weight of Tencha ( plus chains and 40" ) where on that tire .. need to said, that was at the end of very tuff trail. That was after my other trail where I broke both inners in a hill ..

You can see that here ..

Not defending ARB .. just making that video objective.

I thought I would post this here since people will fin this thread when researching lockers.

I had read a long time ago that TJM lockers were made in Australia, but I wasn't sure if they still were. So I emailed them and asked this:
"Hello, I already own a TJM Pro Locker and I love it. Where are your Pro Lockers manufactured? Also is it true that this is the same design as a Mcnamara diff locker?"

This was the reply I got:
"Thanks very much for your comments!

All of our ProLockers are design and made in Australia by our Prolocker team. I have no idea about the design of Mcnamara diff locker, believe the function will be same but the design won’t be exactly same. Hope that I answer your question."
