On the boat to the USA now (ships in black powdercoat) . I'll keep you informed...

^^^Love the bumper.. If I get one for my LX, that would be it.. i am guessing the bumper fits the LX too..

I first had it on a '99 LC with a prefect fit. When it went to the '06 LC the head lights, grill and the lower valance are a little different and some trimming of the bumper was required for the fit.

Not the strongest in the class but the best clearance IMO also the best looking comes as a bonus:hillbilly:

Just a note for anyone else that likes the t-17 -- I e-mailed their NA Sales Manager Mike Crosby. When TJM pulled out of NA they discontinued the t-17 because they rarely sold them outside of this market. Mike said they've had several inquiries about it and are currently considering starting production again.

As a side note, Mike was very prompt with his reply. He also mentioned they're working to improve the website. TJM is a 'mud sponsor. If you haven't already found it, you can ask them questions directly here:

This bumper reminds me of an ARB 80 series non winch model minus the top bars. I think it looks very clean on your rig. I doubt it would do well against rocks but neither does an ARB. Any plans to add lights?

I just wanted to interject a little more information regarding bumpers. TJM only sold the T17 bumpers in the US. When they left in 2005 they discontinued all of them. Now that we are back and are a wholly owned subsidiary of TJM Australia we are trying to resurrect them. Worse case we would like to produce them here if possible. I will update all of you as soon as more information is available. We currently offer the T3, T15 in steel and aluminum and the newly redesigned T13. I know our web site has it's issues and is not even close to where we would like it. We are currently trying to persuade Australia to let us do our own site here so we will not have to share with them. Thanks for all of your interest in TJM products and if you have any questions please let me know.

Mike,

Thanks for keeping us all up-to-date on the progress! More options are always better, and progress on the web site would do wonders for marketing in this day and age!

Do you have a date of when your bumpers will be ready to ship in the US? Also, will the warn 8274 fit in any of your bumpers (even if a little trimming is involved)?

Mike can probably provide a better answer, but AFAIK there are container(s) due in at the end of October. At least I hope so!

Marius, Thanks for posting the pics of the snorkel install. We are currently out of stock on the snorkels and have more coming. We should be receiving a couple of containers on 10/29 that will have more of them as well as all the 100 Series bumpers.
