Does anyone have any experience with these shocks? Or pricing?

TJM XGS Tiger Adjustable front Shock - 650ADJ180B
TJM XGS Tiger Adjustable Rear Shock - 650ADJ280B

My OME rear's are toast and i never really liked how harsh the OME was. So its either upgrade to the new OME nitrochargers or start fresh. Thanks

I have them sitting in my garage :-D. Part of TJM'S 4" kit I ordered. I'm waiting for a couple more parts to arrive in the next couple days then I'll install and do a thorough right up on them.

I'm currently trying to get confirmation for the same shock set up with a 4inch lift OME J lift . Hopefully, the 9 way adjustables won't overextend. I guess it all depends on collapsed and extended lengths. I am assuming the Tiger shocks are fine with a 4 inch lift?? Info greatly appreciated..Thanks!

The Tigers that I have are matched for TJM 4" springs... so as long as you get the right ones it will be fine. FYI, J springs aren't quite a true 4" setup.

Thanks....So I'm assuming the right shocks are the parts numbers that you've listed in this post? Yea, I agree the Js aren't a true 4 inch. Temporarily I have a 1 inch spacer up front. Have u installed the shocks? Is it a firm ride?

What are the part numbers on your shocks? The only shocks I can find that are for the 80 series 4" lift are the XGS Gold shocks that are part number 650GEL180B and 650GEL280B.

You install them yet? Updates?

Looking to get these, any updates?

I've had them on my 94 with there 50mm progressive springs for about 12000 miles now. They are awesome and have had no issues with them. I really like the adjustability of them and for the cost u cant beat them.

I spoke with tech support from Toyotec which is a vendor for TJM and said that the XGS adjustables are for there 2.5 lifts and they dont make them for the 4" lifts..........they are $99.00 a shock IIRC.

Yeh I have the 2.5" lift, I am gonna go with the TJM longs though, these dont come in longs :(

I've seen a few people mention that these came with a ton 4' lift but all the research I've done and vendors I've called say they are for a 2.5' lift only . Anyone know something I don't. I've been looking for these for my 4. Lift for awhile

I called TJM when I was purchasing my lift and the adjustable shocks are only for the 2.5", they do not have them for their 4" lift.

How does the adjustment work? Is it just a valve like on the Rancho that gets bumped off when in the rocks? Is the Tiger shock just a Rancho RS9000XL with a different name on it?

If I was a betting man, I would bet they are the same as the Ranchos. Why would they be 9 way????? just like the 9000's? Either way, I just put the Ranchos on my 97' with the wireless controller and love them!!!!. I have the 2.5" heavy duty Ironman lift(first generation) and I had KYB monomax shocks before and they chipped my teeth the truck was so ruff riding:)

Now I just dial in the terrain and away I go! I know there is an issue with hitting rocks. I only do hard core a couple times a year. I have two extra sets of connectors just in case. If anyone wants to know how to get a good deal on new Ranchos' let me know. I got them from a national parts store(advertises on mud) for about $80 each.

Where did you get the Rancho's and how much is the wireless controller?
Can you adjust the rear different from the front with the controller?

Where does the adjuster sit, can it be positioned so that it can be turned so not to be hit by rocks or can a guard be put over it?

Whoa, that's a good price! I have ranchos too and they are nice but I got tired of going under the truck to adjust them. How much and where did you get your wireless controller?

BTW can the ranchos handle 2.5 inch lift? I need to dig up my receipt to find out how long they are or what model they are.
