Anyone have any experience with running Pro Comp's xtreme all terrain tires. I can get a set of nearly new 315's for around $500. Just looking for some reviews, are they loud, treadwear, traction, etc.)

i can't comment on treadwear, traction, etc... but for that price i'd give them a try if i was looking for a 315 tire and didn't need a mud terrain tread. But then i live in Socal and you're in GA. I'm guessing you deal with more mud down there.

I had a friend that ran them on his F150. They had some road noise, not more than my Nittos though.

For that price how can you go wrong.......

Don't they have a 40k mile treadwear warranty? It's one of those tires between a mud terrain and all terrain like the Mickey T ATZ, Cooper S/T, and Mastercraft C/T. I'd buy them.

I would snatch them up quick, I have ProComp mud terrains and they have been great. Ive got about 50k on mine and at least another 10k. Great tire.

I had them for about 10k miles and I thought they were very loud and rode like tractor tires. Good off road but the on road manners I experienced were just as bad as some of the swampers I have owned.

I am running 33x12.50 right now on my 89 truck. Short version, don't think I wold put them on a DD but a trail truck for sure.

I will definitely 2nd the noise factor, they are loud. The ride is a little rough very low speeds but once you get above +/- 15MPH they tend to smooth out and run okay. I suspect the weight of your truck will effect the overall ride factor.

Treadwear, can't really help you there. I have only put about 5K miles on them so not much change to notice.

Everyone is talking about this tire correct

No help in Georgia, but they look like a great snow tire.

To clarify, I mean the same way trxus is a good snow tire.

i think the pro comp tires are made by cooper?

thanks for all the input, noise is definately a factor considering this is my DD, my buddy has a set of the micky thompson mtz's on his truck and they are one of the loudest tires I've ever heard. That is the situation I'm trying to avoid. I want some Toyo open country MT's but I'm not sure my wallet can handle it.

this tire should be more quiet than the toyo open country MTs. for sure. i have them and while they are not the loudest thing ever, they are not quiet.

if you want quiet get the Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts that everyone loves.
