Hi there,
New member with a 2008 200LC. I spent some time looking thorugh the old posts, but I am curious on getting the "latest" on tire size options/experiences. I am going to add an OME lift, sliders, ARB,etc., and am looking for advice on tire sizes.

Keeping 18" wheels my thoughts are:

1) 275/70 R18- Seems to be what alot of folks are running, appears to fit well with little or no rubbing, about 33.5"
2) 295/70 R18- Taller (~34.5") but wider. Will probaly rub with articulation, but wondering if anyone has tried this size?

Any other sizes I should consider for 18" wheels?

Now, I think the 17" tundra TRD wheels will fit, and this gives a few more tire options. Has anyone has sucess with the 17" tundra TRD wheels?? If so, what size tire did you go with, and any issues?

Thanks for the help, I am trying to get this "right" the first time.

Chris,

I bought 17" TRD rims and Nitto Terra Grappler 285/75/R17 tires so I should now how they fit here shortly.

Oh I forgot to add that I have the ICON shocks with the ARB 880 rear springs, so my results may be different.

Regearing 200 series LC

For now the gearing options are a limited to 4.30 ratio. Nobody makes aftermarket gears fore them quite yet, but we do have the 4.88 that will suit the rear, and we have 4.88 in the works for the front.

Chris,

Will you be regearing with either your tire option 1 or 2?
