got a spare motor? (It helps if it has a gear box and speed control or you might want a more errr..... encompassing spill containment system than the one I used... Well, unless your garage needs painting, of course... :D!) Very calming too.... Ommmm......

Did I already say you want to make sure the lid is on securely?
 
What rpm does the can get? Does the Chem teacher know you took the clamps?
 
I ran it at about 20 rpm. But that's boring, you should try without the gear box! :D
Works fine but I leave it on for a while. Thought of putting a ball bearing in there cuz it was really super thick at the bottom. Must have been 10 years old paint at least, but didn't want to deal with fishing the ball out.
Worked this out after having spent half and hour trying to stir the muck with a stick to little avail and quit. Smooth as silk now.

I should inded have lost some of their essential hardware cuz I sure didn't like some of the orgo chem stuff back in the day, would have been jury nullification of sorts, but, no, surplus.
