Ok so I have searched and read hours worth of threads but I still cannot decide. ACC just installed a 2" Ironman lift on my 100 which has dwarfed my 285x75x16 General Grabbers. Its amazing how aggressive my tires looked before the lift versus how inadequate they look now. I bought the truck about 5 months ago and paid a little more than I should have because the previous owner just slapped the $1k set of new shoes on her. Just another mistake on my record and something else for my wife to give me a hard time about.
So I have seen the Tundra and LC 18" wheels with 33's mounted and I really like the look, only that will most likely put me out another $2k when I just dropped thousands on a lift, Ironman Commercial Bumper, Warn Winch, and Sliders (which should arrive next week). If I am going to take the plunge on some new shoes, I want the biggest, most aggressive d#*m tires I can find. I will only drive this truck about 3k miles per year, so noise nor mileage is a factor.
Hate to start another tire thread but I really could not find much content specific to 2" lifts. I would really like to hear recommendations on how to best fill the wheel well. I have a feeling I am going to break down and go with the 18's.
Also, for those that want a really nice set of new General Grabbers, I will probably be posting them on the Classified section soon!
