I swapped the wheels between my 2012 Tundra and 2005 LC. The fit was fine on the LC, with the exception of the front center caps, just as others described.

I didn't realize that I would have an issue on the Tundra. Brake calipers are hitting the inside of the wheel. Anyone ever dealt with this by chance? I understand that it's more of a Tundra issue but figured I'd check.

The wheels have different offsets.

Ouch.

It's not a matter of offset, it's just a dimension of the wheel that does not clear those calipers. Those particular 18's won't fit the 200 as well. Probably a 5mm spacer could make them work. If it is just a matter of a couple mm's, some folks, including myself have shaved down the calipers a bit... but that was on a road vehicle. I don't think I'd do it on an off-road vehicle.

Is there a minimal spacer available that is safe?

Well, you want 3-4mm of clearance between the caliper and wheel spokes... so whatever spacer less than 10mm, that will get you there will work. Obviously, the shorter the spacer the better. The Bora .75" wheel adapters will mostly likely work as well and they are both hub and wheel centric. And they are the most minimal wheel adapter that will work. (note: the Tundra front hub doesn't protrude out as much as the 100. You can't use these adapters on the front of your 100).

Option #3 would be just to trade your LC wheels for more Tundra wheels. No spacer required. Might even be able to make some money. LC wheels are worth more the Tundra wheels on the used market.

The only reason for the switch is trying to be cheap and not buy a second set of AT tires. Trying to get ready for HIH this summer.
Anyone have any experience with these wheels and tires? A friend has a set for sale. Brand new. $600 for everything. 20" wheel, not 18 like the pic.

It's an issue of backspacing and not so much that of offset. There is some relation between the two, but it's the backspace measurement that's preventing the LC wheel from fitting on the Tundra.

A thin spacer would fix the issue, but I wouldn't bother as I agree the LC wheel on the Tundra just doesn't look good.

Neither backspacing nor offset will measure, with certainty, the brake caliper clearance. There is no standard of measurement.

If buying large aftermarket brake calipers/rotors, you can often get a cut-out diagram so you can test for clearance.

All these wheels can technically have the same offset, backspacing, width and diameter. Some brakes will fit and others don't.
