Well, it looks like I'm out for the time being 
. Before I start dropping money on the vehicle, I decided to take a long hard look at how long I'll be keeping it first. We really don't like that our '99 doesn't have LATCH (child seat hookups), it's a pain in the butt and my wife has been itching for a later model cruiser for some of the other features (when I bought it, I didn't expect the wife & kids to be using it as much as they do!). It also just sounds like an all-around safer choice for the family if I can afford it. So I think I'll start getting serious about finding another one before sinking any money into this one.
This is a painful decision as I got such a sweet deal on my '99 and I -love- it, I feel like I won't be able to luck out like that again. It'll probably take me a couple months at least (optimistic). I hate to miss out on all the fun in the snow here, but I think this is the smart decision.
Please let me know how you do with your new tires... where you get them, how much you pay, what you got and how you like them
