Tire question for Voodoo girl

Hi, did you mount the toyo 295 mt's? Any issues with these tires, rubbing, noise and most importantly, gearing? I'm considering the toyos but am undecided between the at's & mt's. I like the idea of the taller 295's but am concerned that I will suffer off road & need to regear. Also, does the spare clear the rear window? Lot of questions, I know, but any answers would be appreciated. Your truck looks great by the way! Thanks, Jim

I have not mounted them since I cut the body mount. Kinda savin them for a little extra present for when the FJ gets a lift. I did check the spare carrier and rear window though. The 295 m/t's DO fit on the spare mount and the window still clears. I would guess stock gearing is fine, as the 295's are only one size bigger, and the FJ seems to have plenty of power.

My buddy has the m/t's. He says they are louder than the BFG a/t, but not as noisy as the m/t.

I have the a/t's in a 285 on aftermarket wheels. LOVE them.
